Handset Compatibility and basic requirements for the service
Only EDGE supported handsets with a Streaming Media Player (supports H.264 codec + rstp link) like Real Player will work with Zong Pocket TV service.
All Nokia handsets have a Built-in Real player application which plays Streaming links, subscriber has to set his/her edge settings of streaming player up to 84.42 kbps for using the Zong Pocket TV service.
Streaming player in Java OS phones such as Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, and LG will work with Zong Pocket TV service.
Windows OS phones such as Imate and HTC will also be able to use the service.
·Android OS phones will also be able to use this service.
Old handsets which have streaming players which lack H.264 codec support will not be able to work with Zong Pocket TV service.
Apple OS phones/tablets will not work with Zong Pocket TV service.

To use the service
To subscribe the monthly service of Zong Pocket TV customer has to send "sub<space>tv" to 699 and for subscribing the daily service of Zong Pocket TV he/she will have to send "daily<space>tv to 699.
To use the service subscriber has to open the Zong Pocket TV URL http://pockettv.zong.com.pk in his/her phone default browser.
The URL will open the login screen of Zong Pocket TV on their phone.
After successful login subscriber will be moved to the Pocket TV home screen where he/she can click on any of the channels to watch live stream in the media player of your phone.
To resend the PIN subscriber has to send "pin" to 699.
To generate a new PIN subscriber has to send "regen" to 699.

Registration Process:
To activate Facebook alerts, the subscriber will be required to login at the following link:

Once logged in, the user will be required to click the Account menu and select Account Settings from the drop down menu as shown below:

Next, the user will click Mobile tab as shown above. To register follow a simple three step process:
Step 1:
Users will click Register to Facebook Text Messages. ZONG users will be required to select "Pakistan" as country and "ZONG" as carrier and click next.
Step 2:
User will be asked to send "f" to 32665 from their mobile handset to get confirmation code. The letter "f" needs to be sent without quotes.
Step 3:
Enter confirmation code in the opened dialog box and click confirm. User will then be directed to the notification setup page and will be confirmed about their Facebook Text Messages activation feature.
On this page users can edit all notification settings e.g. what kind of notifications to receive, what should be the time of notification, number of notifications to be received, etc. To save setting users will be required to click Save Preferences button.
Users can also add multiple phone numbers to a single profile or remove existing phone numbers as well, however notifications will only be sent to a single number.

Validity of the Insurance policy is for 1 year.
