Microsoft – Nokia Partnership

Technology giants Nokia and Microsoft have joined hands to beat Apple and Google’s Android. Nokia will be working on Windows Phone platform.

Nokia said that it will adopt Windows Platform as its primary smartphone strategy. Nokia and Microsoft will closely collaborate on development, joint marketing initiatives and a shared development roadmap to align on the future evolution of mobile products. Nokia has much to celebrate, with Microsoft taking some of the best services for itself as well as collecting OS royalties. Nokia and Microsoft technical teams “are working together next week to solidify the timing of the first Nokia Windows Phone product,” said Jo Harlow, Nokia’s executive vice president in charge of smart devices.
